The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) and the host South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), saw Mars's lacrosse team top South Fayette by a margin of 17-4.

The Fightin' Planets (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Trojans enter the challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, North Catholic beat Knoch (Saxonburg, PA), 12-8, in a league challenge.

The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Big Macs enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Canon-McMillan beat Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA), 17-2, in a league challenge.
