Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA), 20-0 in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catholic for a VISAA Division 1 test on Saturday, April 15. Bishop Ireton will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 15-7 non-league win over North Shore (Glen Head, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-3.

In their next game, the Ambassadors face the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 test, on Monday, April 17. Norfolk Christian will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 21-7 league win over Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA).
