In Friday's non-league test, the host St. Charles East Fighting Saints lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-9 victory over the Waubonsie Valley Warriors.
The Fighting Saints now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneva for a DuKane test on Monday, April 17. St. Charles East will face a Vikings squad coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Hampshire (Hampshire, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley test, on Wednesday, April 19. Waubonsie Valley will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 12-7 non-league win over Whitney Young (Chicago, IL).
