Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Friday, April 21. Southeast will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.

The Bluejays now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont for a 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 18.
