Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Daviess for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Barr-Reeve will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over South Knox (Vincennes, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Bloomfield falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
