Geneva Panthers (Geneva, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Brantley Bulldogs (Brantley, AL), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wicksburg for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Geneva will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Rehobeth (Dothan, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 31-7.

With the loss, Brantley falls to 18-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Georgiana (Georgiana, AL) to battle the Panthers in a 1A Area 3 challenge on Monday, April 17. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Georgiana lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Red Level (Red Level, AL)
