Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Como Park Cougars (St. Paul, MN), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kennedy for a Metro West challenge on Tuesday, April 18.
With the loss, Como Park falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Johnson (St. Paul, MN) to battle the Governors in a St. Paul City challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Governors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
