The Lexington Wildcats softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Daniel Lions to 4 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Lexington improves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Monday, April 17. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 12-5. Midland Valley lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against White Knoll (Lexington, SC)

In their next game, the Lions clash with the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 15. Daniel will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 7-9 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Unicoi County (Erwin, TN).
