Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildkits now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Rolling Meadows for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Evanston will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Niles North falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Lake View (Chicago, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Lake View lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL)
