Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanahan for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14.

With the loss, Stratford falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Timberland (St. Stephen, SC) to battle the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Timberland won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
