North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vandalia for a South Central challenge on Tuesday, April 18.

With the loss, Litchfield falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Purple panthers host Carlinville (Carlinville, IL) to face the Cavaliers in a South Central challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Carlinville won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Staunton (Staunton, IL)
