California High School Softball - Sutter bounces Righetti

April 14, 2023: Santa Maria, CA 93455

Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Righetti Warriors (Santa Maria, CA), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Marcos for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Sutter will battle a Royals squad coming off a 8-8 non-league Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA). The Royals record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Righetti falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA) to battle the Bearcats in a CCAA - Mountain challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 8-8. Paso Robles won 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Royal (Simi Valley, CA)
