The Salt Fork Storm routed the host Watseka Warriors softball squad by a final score of 17-2 in Friday's league battle.
The Storm (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Tolono Unity topped Paris (Paris, IL), 8-4, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Armstrong for a Vermilion Valley battle on Monday, April 17. Watseka will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 5-6.
