The crowd at Sunday's non-league match between the State College Little Lions (State College, PA) and the visiting Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA), saw State College's softball squad nip Williamsport by a count of 8-2.

The Little Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Central Dauphin for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth match on Tuesday, April 16. State College will face a Rams squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Williamsport falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Millionaires travel to Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA) to face the Bulldogs in a Heartland I match on Monday, April 15. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-1. Jersey Shore won 7-6 in their recent non-league match against Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA)
