The Cheney Tech Chargers baseball team scored 22 runs and held the host Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets to 0 in the Chargers non-league win on Monday.
The Chargers now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Academy of Science and Innovation for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. Cheney Tech will play a Ravens team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to University (Hartford, CT). The Ravens record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Academy of Aerospace and Engineering drops to 0-2 on the year. The Jets host Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-2.
