The Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) baseball trounced the visiting Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA), 9-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edmonds-Woodway for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Archbishop Murphy will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Shorecrest (Seattle, WA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
With the defeat, Cascade drops to 2-8 on the year. The Bruins travel to Jackson (Mill Creek, WA) to clash with the Timberwolves in a 4A Wesco challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Timberwolves go into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Jackson won 6-2 in their recent league challenge against Arlington (Arlington, WA)
