The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) and the visiting Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL), saw Pana's baseball team beat Central A & M by a margin of 14-5.

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Gillespie (Gillespie, IL). The Miners enter the South Central battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Gillespie defeated Vandalia (Vandalia, IL), 7-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Raiders face the Shelbyville Rams (Shelbyville, IL) in a Central Illinois battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Central A & M will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 17-5 non-league loss to Nokomis (Nokomis, IL).
