Arizona High School Baseball - Saguaro loses to Chaparral

April 14, 2025: Scottsdale, AZ 85250

Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), 10-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Chaparral advances its record to 12-9 on the season. The Firebirds host Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Coyotes in a 5A East Sky match on Tuesday, April 15. The Coyotes come into the match with a record of 12-8. Campo Verde won 11-10 in their recent non-league match against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ)

The Sabercats now have a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marcos de Niza for a 4A Desert Sky match on Tuesday, April 15. Saguaro will battle a Padres squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Padres record now stands at 8-13.
