The Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Loudonville Christian Eagles to 1 in the Riverhawks non-league win on Monday.

The Riverhawks now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taconic Hills for a Section 2 Patroon test on Tuesday, April 15. Coxsackie-Athens will clash with a Titans team coming off a 7-0 league win over Catskill (Catskill, NY). The Titans record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Loudonville Christian drops to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles host Germantown (Germantown, NY) to clash with the Clippers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. The Clippers go into the test with a record of 0-5. Germantown lost 18-13 in their recent league test against Greenville (Greenville, NY)
