In Monday's non-league game, the host Dexter Southfield baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties.
The (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA). The Big Green go into the Central New England game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Deerfield Academy nudged Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA), 4-3, in a league game.
Next, the Mounties play the Stony Brook Bears (Stony Brook, NY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 15. Mount St. Charles Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 12-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Collierville (Collierville, TN).
