Ohio High School Baseball - Elgin wallops Ridgemont

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) and the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), saw Elgin's baseball team gain a win over Ridgemont by a tally of 15-4.

The Comets (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Fighting Hornets enter the Northwest Central battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Cory-Rawson was overwhelmed by North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH), 16-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Golden Gophers face the Temple Christian Pioneers (Lima, OH) in a Northwest Central battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Ridgemont will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Pioneers enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 10-0 league loss to Ridgedale (Morral, OH).
