The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the West Nodaway Rockets (Burlington Junction, MO) and the host Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE), saw West Nodaway's baseball team gain a win over Falls City by a tally of 18-3.
The Rockets (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Holt (Oregon, MO). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, South Holt prevailed over DeKalb (DeKalb, MO), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 17. Falls City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 8-7 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE).
