In Monday's non-league game, the visiting North Attleborough Rocketeers baseball team scored a close 5-2 victory over the Franklin Panthers.
The Rocketeers (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Mansfield (Mansfield, MA). The Hornets enter the Hockomock - Davenport game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Mansfield held off Sharon (Sharon, MA), 8-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers face the Attleboro Bombardiers (Attleboro, MA) in a Hockomock - Kelley-Rex game, on Wednesday, April 16. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bombardiers enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA).
