The Great Bridge Wildcats baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Providence Panthers to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Monday.
The Wildcats now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Summerville for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Great Bridge will play a Green Wave team coming off a 2-0 league win over Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 12-4.
With the defeat, Providence drops to 15-4 on the year. The Panthers host Chantilly (Chantilly, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 4-5. Chantilly lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Summerville (Summerville, SC)
