Arizona High School Baseball - Youngker wallops Kellis

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) and the host Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ), saw Youngker's baseball team gain a win over Kellis by a tally of 11-0.

The Roughriders (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 3-16 record. In their last battle, Gila Ridge was overwhelmed by Cibola (Yuma, AZ), 7-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Cougars face the Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) in a 5A Northwest Valley battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Kellis will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Coyotes enter the battle with a 13-7 record after their 8-0 non-league win over ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ).
