In Monday's league game, the host Kent Island Buccaneers baseball team scored a close 9-7 win over the North Dorchester Eagles.
The Buccaneers (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Parkside (Salisbury, MD). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Parkside nudged Southern (Harwood, MD), 2-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles play the Easton Warriors (Easton, MD) in a Bayside - North game, on Tuesday, April 15. North Dorchester will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 6-3 record after their 9-3 league win over Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD).
