The Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) baseball trounced the visiting Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA), 18-8 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Serpents now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee Vining for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. Mineral County will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Coleville (Coleville, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Mammoth drops to 2-7 on the year. The Huskies travel to Bishop Union (Bishop, CA) to clash with the Broncos in a High Desert challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Broncos go into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Bishop Union won 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Boron (Boron, CA)
