In Monday's non-league bout, the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), by a score of 14-1.
Next up, the Braves encounter the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Mt. Zion will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Redbirds enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Washington (Washington, IL).
The Bulldogs (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Maroa-Forsyth achieved victory over Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 4-3, in a league bout.
