Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Salisbury Township Falcons (Allentown, PA), 9-6 in a league contest.
With the triumph, Northwestern Lehigh moves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Palisades (Kintnersville, PA) to confront the Pirates in a Colonial contest on Wednesday, April 16. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Palisades lost 10-0 in their recent league contest against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA)
The Falcons now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmerton for a Colonial contest on Thursday, April 17. Salisbury Township will confront a Blue Bombers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA). The Blue Bombers record now stands at 5-5.
Game Summary
The Tigers improve to 10-1 on the year, with a hard-fought, home, conference win over Salisbury, by the score of 9-6.
