The Tamaqua Blue Raiders baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Pleasant Valley Bears to 2 in the Blue Raiders non-league win on Monday.

The Blue Raiders now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Panther Valley for a Schuylkill County 1 test on Tuesday, April 15. Tamaqua will play a Panthers team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Executive Education Academy Charter School (Allentown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Pleasant Valley drops to 3-7 on the year. The Bears travel to East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA) to play the Cavaliers in a Eastern Penn - Mountain test on Tuesday, April 15. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 7-4. East Stroudsburg South won 4-3 in their recent league test against Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA)
