In Monday's league match, the Orange Tornadoes (Orange, NJ) volleyball squad tipped the host Barringer Blue Bears (Newark, NJ), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Tornadoes battle the Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Orange will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ).
The Blue Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their match against West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Mountaineers enter the SEC - Liberty match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, West Orange held off West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league match.
