Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) and the host Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), witnessed Fountain Inn's lacrosse squad hold off Hillcrest by a score of 12-11.

The Fury (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Westside (Anderson, SC). The Rams enter the 4A contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Westside was nipped by St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC), 20-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rams meet the Greenville Red Raiders (Greenville, SC) in a 5A Upper District 1 contest, on Wednesday, April 16. Hillcrest will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Red Raiders enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 13-11 non-league win over Eastside (Taylors, SC).
