The Voorheesville Blackbirds lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the host South Glens Falls Bulldogs to 16 in the Blackbirds non-league triumph on Monday.
The Blackbirds now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hoosick Falls for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24.
With the loss, South Glens Falls falls to 4-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Schuylerville (Schuylerville, NY) to clash with the Horses in a Section 2 Foothills challenge on Monday, April 21. The Horses go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Schuylerville lost 18-7 in their recent league challenge against Queensbury (Queensbury, NY)
