Athens Golden Eagles (Athens, AL) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Arab Knights (Arab, AL), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Athens advances its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 15-2. Vestavia Hills lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL)

The Knights now have a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scottsboro for a 5A Area 13 test on Tuesday, April 15. Arab will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-12.
