East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, East Lincoln advances its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Croatan (Newport, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 6-4. Croatan won 2-1 in their recent league test against Richlands (Richlands, NC)

The Patriots now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Croatan for a Coastal 3A test on Thursday, April 17. West Carteret will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 1-1 non-league East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.
