The Metea Valley Mustangs edged the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Mustangs face the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley game, on Tuesday, April 22. Metea Valley will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record.
The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Vikings enter the SouthWest Suburban Blue game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Homewood-Flossmoor Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 1-1, in a non-league game.
