The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) baseball trounced the host Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH), 13-6 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Minutemen now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison Comprehensive for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. Lexington will clash with a Rams team coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Clyde (Clyde, OH). The Rams record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Shelby drops to 2-3 on the year. The Whippets travel to Perkins (Sandusky, OH) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 18. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
