In Monday's non-league test, the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host New Haven Bulldogs (New Haven, IN), by a tally of 24-1.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 16. Homestead will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Norwell (Ossian, IN).

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their test against South Adams (Berne, IN). The Starfires go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, South Adams was routed by Bellmont (Decatur, IN), 13-3, in a non-league test.
