In Monday's non-league match, the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) lacrosse team edged the host Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC), by a tally of 9-8.
Next up, the Camels confront the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont match, on Wednesday, April 16. Atkins will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Villains enter the match with a 7-8 record after their 12-11 league loss to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC).
The Spartans now have a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host R.J. Reynolds for a Central Piedmont game on Tuesday, April 15. Mount Tabor will play a Demons team coming off a 15-9 league win over Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Demons record now stands at 11-2.
