The Smithfield Sentinels lacrosse team (Esmond, RI), was overwhelmed 11-3 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI)
With the victory, North Kingstown advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Skippers host Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to encounter the Patriots in a Division 1 (State) battle on Wednesday, April 23. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 5-2.
The Sentinels now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prout for a Division 2 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Smithfield will encounter a Crusaders team coming off a 15-11 non-league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-2.
