The Woodstock Wolverines edged the host Cherokee Warriors soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Wolverines face the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) in a 5A Area 6 game, on Thursday, April 17. Woodstock will attempt to advance on its 1-11 season record. The Chiefs enter the game with a 5-9 record after their 2-1 league win over Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA).
The Warriors (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Osborne (Marietta, GA). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Osborne was nipped by Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
