The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Columbus Sailors to 1 in the Rebels league victory on Monday.
The Rebels now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Denver for a North Iowa Cedar League bout on Thursday, April 17. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will play a Cyclones squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Columbus moves to 1-6 on the year. The Sailors host Postville (Postville, IA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, April 17. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Postville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA)
