The Prairie Hawks soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Kennedy Cougars to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Hawks now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Valley for a non-league bout on Friday, April 18. Prairie will play a Tigers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Kennedy moves to 0-4 on the year. The Cougars host Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA) to play the Warriors in a Mississippi Valley - Valley bout on Tuesday, April 22. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
