The Altamont Indians softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles to 0 in the Indians league win on Monday.

The Indians now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramsey for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. Altamont will confront a Rams team coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL). The Rams record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Brownstown/St. Elmo moves to 0-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Farina South Central (Farina, IL) to confront the Cougars in a National Trail battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 6-6. Farina South Central lost 11-5 in their recent league battle against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL)
