With the triumph, Smackover improves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Buckaroos host McGehee (McGehee, AR) to play the Owls in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. The Owls enter the game with a record of 6-3.

The Panthers now hold a 0-11 record. They play next when they host Bismarck for a 3A Region 7 game on Wednesday, April 16. Ashdown will play a Lions squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Fouke (Fouke, AR). The Lions record now stands at 8-8.
