Phillips Exeter Academy Lions (Exeter, NH) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA), 11-10 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Phillips Exeter Academy improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Lions host Milton Academy (Milton, MA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 16. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Cougars now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Phillips Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 26. Austin Prep will clash with a Big Blue team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to St. Paul's (Concord, NH). The Big Blue record now stands at 0-2.
