The Belleville Buccaneers triumphed over the visiting Irvington Blue Knights softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Buccaneers play the Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 16. Belleville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Arts (Newark, NJ).
The Blue Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bard (New York, NY). The Raptors enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Bard was routed by Millburn (Millburn, NJ), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
