The Prescott Cardinals softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Blair-Taylor Wildcats to 2 in the Cardinals non-league win on Monday.

The Cardinals now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Somerset for a Middle Border battle on Tuesday, April 15. Prescott will confront a Spartans team coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Grantsburg (Grantsburg, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Blair-Taylor moves to 2-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Alma Center Lincoln (Alma Center, WI) to confront the Hornets in a Dairyland battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 1-3. Alma Center Lincoln lost 15-1 in their recent non-league battle against Pepin/Alma (Pepin, WI)
