The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies (Santa Ana, CA) and the visiting Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), observed Godinez Fundamental's softball team get by Bolsa Grande by a tally of 11-10.

The Grizzlies (2-8) will now prepare for their bout against Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA). The Mustangs go into the Orange Coast bout with a 1-13 record. In their last bout, Costa Mesa was nipped by Tustin (Tustin, CA), 6-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Matadors clash with the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros (Garden Grove, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, April 16. Bolsa Grande will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 14-0 league win over Magnolia (Anaheim, CA).
