In Monday's league match, the visiting Fremd Vikings softball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Buffalo Grove Bison.

The Vikings (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights go into the Mid-Suburban East match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Prospect tipped Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL), 2-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bison battle the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a Mid-Suburban West match, on Wednesday, April 16. Buffalo Grove will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars go into the match with a 4-2 record after their 13-3 league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
